Accomplishments of the President

• WBMSAT provided on-site project management, integration, and testing services to a large integrator on a super-headend project for the integrator's major client in 2010.
• WBMSAT worked with a major integrator to develop system requirements for a large satellite headend RFP (Request For Proposal) being prepared by the integrator's customer in 2008.
• As an employee of SES Americom, ultimately recognized with with 4 “A-Team” awards, 7 “Recognition of Excellence” awards, and 3 management cash awards.
• Spearheaded super headend engineering and integration effort in 2005 - 2007 as part of creation and launch of IP Prime, an SES Americom company division.  SES closed down IP Prime in 2009 due to slow subscriber take-up from the Telco customers.
• Collaborated with team of engineers in 2006 - 2007 on development of a Mobile Maritime Broadband product to provide internet connectivity and Voice Over IP by satellite to marine locations.  KVH, who designed the marine antennas, took over the product and has successfully marketed it as mini-VSAT broadband.
• Designed satellite communications package that allows TV broadcasters to extend the reach of their base broadcast transmitters; launched by SES Americom in 2007 as SignalSat.
• Engineered network design changes and directed team of 5 technicians to implement the changes to 37 sites in a satellite video conferencing network, completing the upgrade in 10 days with no interruptions to the conference schedule.
